Lately I've been working on pictures of various events. So please be sure to check out my gallery of Falcon Ridge 2004 and Clearwater 2004. More things and updates to come at some point when I have the time to learn more code.

(November 1, 2003):

Welcome to chris-chin.net! I finally have my own domain! Now I have another reason to procrastinate. Woohoo! Then again, I hardly updated this site when it was at its old location, so please don't expect much in the short-term (which is a VERY relative term). Anyway, I have added a couple of new things, including a Photo Gallery and a Blog for your enjoyment. There's not much on there yet, but just you wait! I am planning at some point to update this site and tweak with designs and such soon, I promise. Stay Tuned! But for now, browse around, hang out, enjoy, and try the veal. Oh, and View My Guestbook or go Sign it.

Hi! My name is Christopher Chin and you have reached my homepage. A quick educational/work blurb of things that I have done (mostly education considering that is what I've been doing all my life): I just finished my goal of earning a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work. I am about to embark into the real world and begin my first career (that's scary!). Prior to that I took a year off from school while I was a Corps Member with the Americorps*National Civilian Community Corps (A*NCCC) Northeast Region located in Perry Point, Maryland. This meant that I am involved in a variety of community service projects across the Northeast Region of the United States. I graduated in May 1998 from Cornell University in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Biology and Society with a concentration in Women's Studies. I graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School as a Bio-Medical Major way back when in June 1994. I still consider myself a student who still has quite a bit of Tech Pride, as I really feel that I went to an awesome high school.

Please excuse me for any mistakes of spelling, grammar and whatever, as I'm constantly working out the kinks (aka this page, as most other pages are, is constantly a work in progress). Feel free to mail me if you have any suggestions or comments (criticisms, insults like: This is a Homepage?, etc.). As you will notice, there are no frames or tables in most of my pages (anything that might make the page look neat) because I feel they take away from the personal touch (Actually, I'm really lazy and don't really want to write up the code). But I think I am getting into a more organizational mood so I might do revamp this page slightly soon (note, I said this about 3 years ago and still have only added text to this site since then...either I'm just a lazy bum or my life has just been very hectic, you decide). If this were to be a more professional page, more effort towards aesthetics and ease of use would be taken. Thank you for your patience if you gotten this far without moving onto another site.

If you want to know more about my life and my friends, follow this link and some of my interests (they vary so much), by following the text to the right (INTERESTS). If for some way out reason you want to know what classes I have taken at Cornell, feel free. BTW, I have been experimenting lately with various backgrounds and text colors for these pages. Let me know what you think.

Also, if you're interested, please take a look at my Résumé (in PDF Format), which will be updated shortly.

If for some strange reason you got to this page randomly and/or have no idea where to go next, try some searching at Google (Definitely the best search engine IMHO, or give Yahoo a try if nothing here interests you (fine, I'm boring, damn it <sob>).
